Mediatomb release v0.10.0 now contains playlist support http://mediatomb.cc/news.

Are there any plans in place to upgrade Bubba firmware before the end of the year, and if so will an updated Mediatomb version be included?

Alternatively can I upgrade the current mediatomb version directly? If so, then how (I'm a relative newcomer to Debian so be gentle) ?

I use Mediatomb to stream my mp3s round the house and need some way of creating a playlist for my Philips SLA550 ready for a New Years Eve party..

Any ideas?

I would also be interested in this- we are using the playlist feature on a PC running Ubuntu and it works well.

Hi,

We will of course provide an upgrade of MT. Unfortunately the 0.10 version contains a bug that makes an upgrade a bit tough for us. This will however hopefully be fixed in the soon(?) to be released MT upgrade. Then it will be easier for us to do an upgrade.
