Hello

First I got the http://bubba:3689/applet.html to work. But after a reboot I just get the message "DAAP link failed" when I try to browse my mp3 files. I havent changed anything since it worked so its very strange that it just stoped working.
I have checked and rechecked everything in the config file but I cant see whats wrong.

Anyone know what is wrong?

Thanks, best regards

Very strange. Do you know if the service is running? Type:

Code: Select all

ps -aux | grep mt-daap
..to check. If it isn't running, type:

Code: Select all

/etc/init.d/mt-daapd start
to start it. Also please let us know, we would like to know why.

Thanks,

Ok, Im not at home right now so I cant access with SSH.
But when I connect to the Server Status page I can see that its running and that I have over 6000 songs in the map. But what is songs served?

I was thinking that maybe I should test to reinstall just this application (if its possible) if we dont find whats wrong. What do you think?
Im new to Linux so I only know the basic.

Is the DAAP service running, can you listen to your music from other players? For instance through Itunes?

Hi

I have tried to use different port no during the week.
Today when I came home I just changed back to 3687. And it now work fine again from web and itunes.
I got for example 8800 to work before this reboot I did. But not now. Should it not be possible to change port no to what ever I want? hmm
