Hi all,

When I shut down my Bubba through the web interface last night, the hard disk drive didn’t power down.
You could still hear it spinning., but all the LED’s were off.

This is the second time this has happened. Normally when I press the power button it powers up as usual. But last night I just held in the power button, to start it up/power it down.

The hdd is a Seagate 500gb.

Yes, this is a known issue, we have it on our list to fix this. Sometimes (not often) the disk doesn't spin down after power down.

I am sorry, but the only workaround right now is to power up Bubba (press the button) and power down again. Or - if possible - just pull the power cord. All activity is down, so there is no risk in pulling the power when the front LED is off.

to be honest i just ignored the fact that it did it the first time round as everything works fine, but thought i'd check this time. just encase there was a bigger issue behind it.
