Hello,
I got my bubba recently and new to linux stuff. Is it possible to add
rapidshare premium support to the downloads?
Thanks.

Is there any specifications on how rapidshare does its authentication?

I didn't know its auth method before since I used flashget (it supports premium downloads) on a windows pc but with a quick search on internet I found this article:
http://www.g-loaded.eu/2007/09/15/use-w ... e-premium/
This article says, rapidshare uses "cookie-based authentication" and describes how to download files using wget or curl.
As I said, I'm new to linux (started using it with my bubba 1 week ago

)
and want to do all my downloads with bubba.
So, is there a way to add rapidshare premium downloads from web-admin interface?
Thanks for the support.

rasel,
Ok, thanks for the link. That pretty much explains how it works. And it should indeed be possible to add this to the download manager.
The only problem is that since its based on web-based authentication there is no guarantees that if we implement support that it will work tomorrow. One change in the login page could render the function useless on Bubba.
What we most likely will do is extend the dowload manager to support cookies. That way it should be quite easy to fix fx rapid share support.

Any news on the rapidshare/cookie support for the download manager? Is it possible to make a rough esimation on when it could be implemented?
The more I read about the bubba I the more interested I get. The rapidshare/cookie support would make me hit that "buy" button.
