Start with an ADSL modem.
Add a wireless router.
Having too many gadgets with Ethernet? Ok, add a switch.
Get a Bubba.
Get another small fanless server.
Get a second wireless router.

You now have a big pile of gadgets stacked on top of each other, if you are lucky they don't tumble and fall over. Air circulation for passive cooling is non-existing.

Recognize the scenario? When checking I literally burned my hand when touching some of the gadgets described above - something had to be done.
Then a few weeks back when visiting the local IKEA store, I noticed this letter tray (http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/50496_PE147169_S4.jpg, it's called "DOKUMENT"). Turns out it's perfect - place the gadgets in the different trays, cables coming in from the back, the trays are metal and lead away some of the heat, and air is finally able to circulate and take the worst heat away.
Works great, and at ca 10 EUR it's a bargain!
