Hi all,

Has anyone got Chromecast to work with B3 using WPA2-security? Mine works if I disable WPA2 and set the Wifi to unencrypted.

I noted this in the B3 syslog:
hostapd: wlan0: STA 6c:ad:f8:48:3a:d5 IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to local deauth request

Perhaps a newer version of hostapd will fix it issue. Has anyone compiled a newer version? Or has any other solution to this?

I'm using the latest B3 software release.

I have one that works.
But it took me a few hours to get it on the wifi, and if I am not mistaken, I had to get the Chromecast on an unencrypted wifi to update its software, before I could make it connect to my bubba-wifi.
After that it runs just fine ( I think - I don't really use it, since I can't get the sound to separate device from the HDMI).

I finally got it working by using a shorter WPA2 password than I did before. I thought I tried that before posting so I'm not quite sure why it worked now.
