Has anyone installed and used justcloud on B3?

Hey folks,

I am considering an extra backup in the cloud and looking at crashplan.com and justcloud.com. There is a how to install crashplan.com and it seems to work.

Justcloud.com is cheaper and comes recommended by friends. Is there anyone who has installed and used their Linux-client on B3?

Any other thoughts?

Many thanks in advance!

What i personally hate about justcloud is that they really try to hide their costs and pretend it's a free service. It makes me wonder what else they hide.

So there are more costs than what they state on their site? Then it might be same price as crashplan.com in the end.

Following the 'business' link on the justcloud page it shows a fee of 19.95 euro for 5 computers and a 100GB limit. With crashplan you get unlimited storage for up to 10 computers for just 13.99 US dollar and it gets cheaper if you sign up for multiple years.

Oh and did you check the 'reseller' page on justcloud? 6 cents per additional GB. In terms of value for money crashplan definitely seems to be the better choice.

the "free personal unlimited storage " version of justcloud isn't actually free or unlimited either. It's just a temporary demo of a 75GB storage. Of course they do not tell you until AFTER you give credentials. If you search deep through their faq you'll find the actual pricing.

Even if these guys are cheaper would you trust your data to people with slimy business practices like that?
