Transfer of files from USB drive to the b3 - format?

I got my b3 yesterday. It will be used mainly as an audio server with a squeezebox touch. I have my music files on a 750 GB hard drive (format FAT). When I connect the drive to the b3, it cannot be mounted. Has the b3 problems with FAT? I also tried to format a USB drive with the b3 software, works fine - but: then my iMac does not recognize the format...
Any advice highly appreciated!

Hi Andy,
B3 schuld be alle to read Fat drives. Hoe did you try to mount the drive? From the webpage?

Yes, from the webpage. In the meantime I made a restart - and suddenly the disk appeared. I have again dismounted the disc, and I'm filling it presently with music files. Let's see whether it will mount the next time.
