[Solved] Denyhost only on WAN interface

Hi,

I have installed denyhost on my B3 and it now blocks the "evil" traffic in a very good maner.

I would like to disable the denyhost functionality on the LAN interface so that some computer/IP address can not be lockled out.

Can denyhost be configured to only work on the eth0 (WAN) interface or can it be configured to allow all IP addrresses that is given out by the B3?

Best Regards,
Morgan

Hello eramoli,

I also use denyhost, but I have never had the need to set up what you want.
Try this google search:

Code: Select all

denyhosts whitelist
You should probably be able to set up a netmask or use a wildcard so you don't have to enter the IP address of every single machine on the internal network...
