No http access to b3 from outside

I ran an update yesterday from the webconsole and since I've not been able to get to the web front-end outside my network.

AFAIK nothing changed network-wise and I've triple-checked my port forwarding which is the same as before I ran this update.

SSH still works fine and I get a ping response externally too.

Any advice or further checks would be welcome.

Thanks

Andy

Bizzarely enough I've done something to resolve this. After numerous attempts to access remotely over the net I threw the b3 into the DMZ and then was able to access. Now I've moved it back behind the firewall and it's still working. I'm not 100% sure the router had been reset recently so possibly traffic wasn't being routed to is properly.

next time install iptraf and monitor if the connections get through. My guess would be that the router misbehaved though.

Most likely the WAN address on the B3 was offered a new IP by your router's DHCP which then failed to also flush and reload the forwarding rules. I'm guessing it would have been sufficient to pull the power from the router and reconnect it after 10-15 seconds.
