I think we need more information. You should be able to connect to the FTP server and browse to /home/storage. What FTP client are you trying to use? What commands are you entering? From the LAN or the wan? Etc.

I use Oplayer for iPad. have to write an exact path IP/xxxxx
only have host, port, username, password
