Yes to both, but obviously different approaches.

To reinstall, you need to create a USB stick - http://forum.excito.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1347 - and change the config file on the stick so it keeps your /home folders intact.

It also depends what you mean with data. If you by data mean user data as photos, music, document then yes. If you also means system settings like firewall and internet settings then no.

data is music, photos, mvies anf etc. doesnt care about userdata in home-folders

Then you should be good as all that is in /home. Always worth having a backup though.

That would be a start, yes

You need to get a working USB stick that contains the installer for the B3. Once you've done that, there is a config file on the stick that the installer reads. One of the settings on the config file is to re-partition your drive (you don't want that) and the other is something like "preserve /home partition" (you do want that).

Not sure if there is a how-to or wiki page with all this. It would pay you to do a bit of searching.

I will try tomorrow. As I wrote I dont care about Home-catalogs, only movies, pictures, series ans apps

All the stuff you mention should be in /home/storage which is why you want to keep it.

Yes, that's why you need to edit the config file so it doesn't blitz /home. I think I've mentioned that about five times now.
