B3 update failure

Could some of you Linux / B3 specialists explain to me what the failure note below means and what can I do to rectify this? It prevents the sw update, current level is 2.0.0. Txs!
"Failures found in package (dpkg) database, unable to continue with upgrade."

Did you update using the web interface or using SSH (Putty)?
If you updated using the web interface I would suggest you try updating using SSH.

Could you post the response when trying to update using SSH? This may give clues as to why it failed.
