Hi, I have just tried to install Woltlab Burning Board on my current Synology NAS, but the installation did not start - according to the forum of the manufacturer, this discussion forum is not officially supported and cannot be used.

Therefore, I think of purchasing the B3... however, I would need to know first if Burning Board would run on it. Does anybody know about this or could try to install the free version Burning Board Lite on the B3?

The B3 matches the system requirements that are stated on the burning board website (http://www.woltlab.com/system-requirements.html)

Hi, thanks, but that also applies for my current Synology 110j - however, the installation simply hangs even if all of the "formal" requirements are met (in fact, all other php-based applications work fine on it).

If somebody could try to install the free Burning Board Lite on his B3 and inform me about the results that would be great (and motivate me to order the B3 right away )

But this package is commercial software that you paid for and are installing on a machine that meets the published specifications for such software. Why aren't you harassing the software vendor to make it work?

Yeah, I had a look to see if I might spend some time on trying it out, but then I saw that I would have to pay money to do so.

But in case you want to see what might be wrong, check apache and php error logs for possible error messages.
