What is the long file name limits when working with these B3's?

In Windows it's the 255 characters, but is this the same for debian??

Thanks!

I think for the Ext3 filesystem there is no limit to the length of the path but the individual file name has a limit of 255 bytes.

Are there any limits of the folder name itself or simply the filename?

Do you mean the path? There are no limits on the length of the path.
