There's something in itune's preferences about looking for shared libraries. I'm not at my computer now and can't remember the exact setting. Anyway, check it's not disabled.

Strange. Could it be networks problems (are they on the same LAN?)? Did you put music in the 'music' folder? Check that the DAAP server is enabled (log on as admin -> services)?

i have itunes being served from my b2 for both vista and os x.
this was achieved by copying the folder Music->iTunes into my user file system on the b2 and then (in iTunes) selected Edit->Preferences->Advanced tab and then setting "iTunes Media Folder Location" to the location i copied it to on the b2 in my user file system.
this worked like a charm for me. i hope it will for you too.
for completeness, i have not deleted the iTunes media folder from the vista or mac machines yet but i am confident they ~are~ being served from the b2 because i can feel the disk operating on the b2 when i play files from them on iTunes on the original machines ~and~ the "iTunes Media Folder Location" is set to the bubba file system when i look on the tab i gave above.

i have the same problem, whatever i try bubba just wont show up in my itunes.
i opened port 3689 in the firewall, tried songbird, bubba just does not show up.
The daap server web interface (
http://bubba:3689) tells me its running fine . so i'm at a loss here.
anyone any ideas?

PS i'm on OSX 10.6

Did you update to the latest bubba sw? There has been a fix for a similar issue just a while ago.
