Cannot open Administration tab on home page

Hello All:

Been out of town for about 9 months and my Bubba Two was powered down and offline.

Tried to bring it back up this week but I cannot open the Administration tab to make configuration changes. All the other tabs open correctly (Excito Home, Support, Manual, etc.) and the Bubba Two is visible on the network.

When I click the Administration tab I get the following error message:
  • Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
    Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 PHP/5.2.6-5ex1 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8c Server at 192.168.1.114 Port 80
Don't have a clue how to fix or bypass this problem. All data is backed up on a separate machine so if there's a way to restore/reset the server to factory settings, that's A-OK.

Sent an e-mail request for help with this to tech support last week but got nada.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Oldan

Hi Oldan,

I hope you have got a response from support now. Anyways, a re-install to factory settings is done using a USB memory (see the manul), it'r pretty straitghtforward. It will help.

I can't explain why this happened though, sounds strange if it worked when you powered it down. What was the last changes you made?

/Johannes

Hi Johannes:

Thanks for your reply. Actually I have made no changes since installation, over a year ago. At that time I think the only change to the setup was changing the workgroup form "Excito" to "workgroup."

I had hoped to avoid a re-install as that's usually problematic (with most systems) but I'll give it a try next weekend and post the results here.

Best regards,

Oldan
