Gents,

I'am close to buy a HTC touch pro 2 (windows mobile 6) cell phone.
Has anybody experience with the synchronation of IMAP mails from Horde and/or Schedule Kronolith synchr?

Would it work well?

I would like to read my mails on my HTC via Wifi router connected to my bubba at home.

On the road I don't need mail sync. or schedule only access at home.
If i add on the road appointments, when I get home autom. synch wiht Horde.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have any experience with using Horde but I had a Windows Mobile PDA and the IMAP support is hideous. My device was running MinMo 5 though so it's possible it's improved since then.

I don't know if Horde supports ActiveSync that would allow you to sync as if it was an Exchange server (doubt it as it has to be licensed from MS) but that would be a better option.

I wonder if there's a GMail or other third-party client available for WinMo, I'd have a look into that if I were you.

As someone who's tried a few different smartphone OS's my ultimate recommendation would just be to avoid Windows Mobile.

Is Funambol a good solution to sync between Windows mobile and HORDE/KRONOLITH/TURBA??

Nobody uses a cellphone to sync with your pim (BUBBA TWO)???

I was very interested in Funambol but noticed that it didn't look like their client software wast using SSL. After several emails back and forth they finally admitted that it didn't because some older devices they supported didn't support SSL. That might have changed now.

Hello

Using my HTC HD2 over wifi with IMAP. As long as the SMTP server is the one provided by the ISP
no problem at all. I travel alot and can everywhere receive my emails on the HD2
