Bubba Two as firewall

Hi

we are about to purchase a firewall and I saw Bubba Two, I think it is a good device.

But I would like to get more info/feedback about how compentent the firewall feature is.

I have searched the forum but could not get all information I need, before make a purchase.

We want to use the firewall in a small office (will serve about 10 computers/clients).
We don't allow the workers to reach internet from their winxp machines, except few web pages (job related).

E.g.
can we in firewall setup to deny all surf-out except to http://www.trustedpartner-sites1..2..n.com ?
We will allow few http://www.domains.com

Is it possible to do this? and how?

Our workers are not allowed to reach other sites than agreed, and later we will need also to access the office by VPN (but this is doable, from what I could see in the forum - with openvpn).

Kind regards
J

Hi J,

This is not a feature that is included out-of-the-box, but can be installed and made working by hand. Note that Bubba is a full linux machine, so installing squid or other tools to accomplish this is fully possible. This will have to be done by hand though, and requires some lInux skills.

I think what you need is described here:

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to let us know!
