Squeezecenter / BBC iPlayer broken after update

I've updated my Bubba|Two and my Squeezecenter BBCiPlayer plugin recently. Both updates seemed to go fine but I now can't play back AAC encoded iPlayer files - the entry in SqueezeCenter/Settings/Advanced/FileTypes just says 'Disabled' for AAC.
Before I break something by trying to fix this, could someone point me towards the software I should be installing (I'm assuming that the problem is a missing AAC codec)?
Thanks.
Charles.

Bad form, I know, but problem solved.

Code: Select all

apt-get install faad libfaad0
/etc/init.d/squeezecenter restart
In my case it was just faad that was missing.
Hope that helps someone else.

The reason for not including faad is because AAC is patented and requires payment of royalties.

Just for information - I still couldn't get things to work with faad : squeezecenter thought it was playing the program but no sound. Updated iPlayer and selected MP3 rather than AAC and all is fine, albeit at slightly reduced quality. Where's the Vorbis option???
