when i try to download a photo from my album the file extension is missing. Now my viewer doesn't recognise it as a picture. Worst of all: the error makes it impossible for my mother to view the full pictures

i can't find a way to explain her to rename every picture to xxxx.jpg

Where can i find the photoalbum scripts to fix the problem? (or can i fix this in another way?)

May I ask what viewer you are using?

The browser should interpret the image correctly according to the mime-type sent, but it is true that there are no extension sent since the name shown is just the actual database index of the picture.

Is the case that you want to download the image and save locally?

The scripts are in /usr/share/album

i tried IE 6.0 - IE doesn't show the image but offers to save as...
Google Chrome does show the image the right way.

Save as... adds no extension. I'll fix this myself. thanks
