bubba not connecting through at boot

description of my network.

wallplug -> bubba -> linksys-router -> hobo, piku

The problem is that often (i.e. doesn't happen allways), when booting either hobo or piku, they can't get past bubba. They can connect to bubba, and from bubba to anywhere in the outside world, but browsing, or any activity through bubba, just doesn't happen.

I can fix it by bringing hobo's (or piku's) network interfaces up and down three times. And all is just peachy again with packages moving happily as they should.

Also if I reboot e.g. hobo, the network through bubba is all ok, without the need of up&down the interface..

...So, which files/logs should I pay attention to? My LAN is working ok, so I guess the problem lies somewhere in the bowels of bubba. Or maybe in the router..

I got nothing really special installed on bubba. Just the default repos.

cheerios.. novis.
