I have finally updated bubba two but cannot get the web pages back - I get a 403 forbidden ("You don't have permission to access / on this server."). I also get this message in subfolders. This looks like a permissions issue over the whole webserver or something, but I am a bit stumped.

On the good side, I do have BUBBATWO showing up on the LAN - which it wasn't before

I have checked httpd.conf, and i think i have permissions sorted out on index.html, which exists, and all seems well there and do not see how he whole webserver can suddenly have the wrong permissions - any help more than welcome

Have you checked the error log (/var/log/apache2/error.log)? Might help you figure out what the problem is.
