Hi

I have bought an Bubba Two and a Tvix 6500 mediaplayer. I can ping the Bubba from the mediaplayer but i can not see the folder, in set up you have to add a namn of the NAS, i have tried everything without result.

Can anybody please help me wich namn i should add in the Tvix 6500 so that i can get access to the bubba.

This should be \\Bubba\ or perhaps \\bubba.local\
you could also try entering Bubba's ip-adress.

My (very) limited experience is that media players need to talk to a media server.
Bubba has 2:
- firefly for DAAP
- mediatomb for UPnP

These are switched on in the services section of the admin interface, and then can be accesses to manage then through (e.g.)

http://bubba:3689 for firefly

To access these from a media client you need to refer to them in the same way via the port numbers, e.g. bubba:3689

I don't see any mention in your question about any of this so this might be what you're missing...

Now sorry, I have tried this, a can reach the bubba from every other computer but not from the Tvix 6500 (I can ping it). If you look inside Mediatomb server there are diffrent directories like, storage, home, video etc wich should i use.
I also tried the port number but i did not work either. In th Tvix you need to choice NFS or samba config, wich? and do you use / in only NFS or also in SAMBA.

That is the name you set in the network/lan section of the admin interface.

Standard name is there, thing it is Bubba, is this the name you refer to? are your 6500 working fine with Bubba and SAMBA?

Don't have a 6500. Was just answering your question about the Samba server name.
