Yesterday evening I finally managed to sync both with my Windows based PDA and my Nokia E-series phone.
For both scenarios, I am connected though my WLAN at home. My BubbaTwo is located at 192.168.1.100
For Windows PDA:
it works out of the box with Synthesis SyncML client. Download a 30 days demo from
http://www.synthesis.ch/dl_client.php?lang=e&lay=desk
Connection string in Synthesis SyncML:
http://192.168.1.100/pim/rpc.php
Enter horde account username /password.
Enter what to sync (contacts, events, tasks)
Remove the 'sync only 30 days before / 90 after today' option.
Sync!
For Nokia E-series phone:
In the phone, use the built-in SyncML client. Goto Menu -> Tools -> Sync -> Create new sync profile.
Do not copy values from an existing sync profile!
Connection settings:
Server version: 1.1
I've only tried with this setting so far...
Address to host:
http://<external address to my bubbatwo>/pim/rpc.pim
(could not get it to work with the easy name address...?)
Port: 80
Horde user name/password.
Accept all sync requests
Program settings:
For Contacts:
Include in sync: Yes
Database: contacts
The program names are called calendar, tasks, notes, and contacts.
The built in SyncML in Nokia manages only 80 contacts at a time, so if you have about 220 contacts like me, you'll have to sync them 80 at a time...
Synthesis client worked without any problems.
Hope this helps!
