Streaming FLAC audio

I'm thinking of purchasing a Bubba Two.

One of my main reasons for buying a NAS device is that I'd like digitize my entire CD collection and have all my songs available to stream through my stereo. I'd like to store my collection on the Bubba Two as FLAC files.

Which network music player/streaming media device would regulars here recommend? At the moment I'm considering either a Squeezebox Classic or a Roku Soundbridge.

Also, can anyone report what the performance is like using Squeezecenter, MediaTomb etc... to stream FLAC files from the Bubba Two? Presumably they're transcoded to the WAV format, in the process using some CPU cycles...
