Recovery

Ran into som problems with my network settings and found myself sitting with an unresponsive Bubba Two.
No problem, ill just use the guide in the manual to fix it, or so i thought. However, the procedure in the manual states that the HD will be formatted. Not good. If i keep all my files on Bubba i certainly dont want to format the drive. I would rather:
1. Boot from a USB stick that mounts my drive and lets me log on to the system via my network.

or

2. Keep all my files on a separate partition from the system. Now i can format my system without loosing my files

Thanks in advance
G

I will second that.
There should be a way to reinstall the Bubba without the HDD format.

Yes, and there is one now. Use the new usb image, (http://update.excito.net/install/latest/bubba-two/) it comes with a config file where you can turn on or off format etc.

Great service. Makes me glad to have bought the Bubba in stead of another solution.
Keep it up guys!
