Backup to USB

Hello Excito..
The bubba has an option in the settings-panel to make an backup.
This backup is between 10-15K of size...
What does it backup...
1) just the /var section
2) all changes to the basic image?
3) ..
When multipple backups are present on an USB device, what backup is restored....
