You're just being a lazy bastard!
Correct.
Go check the logs!
Nope.

Darn. This renders your complaints invalid. Which means that this kernel is error free. Agreed?

Just wanted to announce that my uptime now has reached all-time-high. I've never got more than 11 days uptime with 2.6.35 and now I'm on 11.35 days with 2.6.38 [1]. And this is in spite of the fact that I've really tried to get it to crash.

The non-debug version of the kernel I'm running is available at
http://b3.update.excito.org/test/. I've heard rumours though that this kernel will soon arrive to a B3 close to you as an official update

Has anyone had this recently? I've woke up this morning to a dead B3 with exactly the same symptoms as reported here after 14 days of uptime.

Nope. Mine has been stable as a brick since upgrading the kernel.

edit: Just some illustration, from my Munin page (kindly hosted by Ubi):
http://www.ideel.nl/bubba/bubba/daniel. ... ptime.html. I switched kernel in march. Before that I had never had more than two weeks of uptime. Switched over from debug kernel to non debug one in may, hence the dip there. And then this friday there was a power outage longer than my ups could withstand. But as you can see, solid as a black brick.

Mine has been stable too.
I only followed the official updates... (using the web interface).

ah crap. Yeah, I use this domain for many things, among which to test some htaccess scripts. Had a domain running a moin-moin wiki which, turned out, is coded so poorly that it ate my CPU (First time a saw a load of 140!). So I needed to park it somehwere where it was safe. Forgot about you guys, will try and remember next time

I don't see how this lecture on TCP networking fits into that. Furthermore, your issue, which is hijacking this tread, seems to be a problem with your switch and not with your bubba. PLease either start a new thread or stay on-topic on this one.
Please go away.

Any chance of stopping him and his *@£% buddies from coming here again?

I would love to, there has been too many the last weeks. However their posting seem (at least to me) manual (copying parts of previous posts etc.) and they do pass a non-standard captcha. Any forum experts here who can help us with advice?
