Hi,
I cant find my b2 in the local network by using /bubba. My skills in this area is small and if anyone can support me on how to proceed I would be very happy.
Now the B2 is connected to an switch to the LAN port (have also tried WAN port). My laptop can find the B2 by wireless connection but as unknown network.
Computers that are connected to the switch have internet connection but I cant find my B2 by using easyfind.
Any suggestions?
/ Fredrik

Finding B2 in local network
Re: Finding B2 in local network
Please be more specific as to your network setup. Do you have a wireless B2? Is the B2 connected directly to the internet via its WAN port? What type/brand of switch do you use? Or is it a wireless router?

Re: Finding B2 in local network
Right now I have my Netgear switch connected to internet, the wireless B2 connected to the switch. My other computers all have internet connection from the switch.
I have also tried to connect internet to B2 and my laptop to B2 with cable. I can connect to B2 network by wireless network but I cant find the admin page by /bubba and not with easyfind.

Re: Finding B2 in local network
It may be that both your B2 and your Router/switch have a DHCP service enabled. Another possibility is that the B2 and your router/switch are on different subnets. The B2 by default uses a IP adress in the 192.168.10.xx range. Most Router/switches use the 192.168.1.xx range by default.
If its a new B2 you might try connecting directly (wired) to the B2. The computer should automaticcaly get an adress in the 192.168.10.xx range. Then you should be able to browse to http://bubba/admin from your pc. If not you could try connecting to http://192.168.10.1/admin.
How you set up your network depends on how you want to use your B2. If you only use it inside your network as a server you might switch off DHCP and set it to receive an IP adress from your Router/switch, if you want to use it as web/mail/ftp/... server you might prefer to connect the B2 directly to the internet and keep the DHCP service turned on. Then you should set your router to a fixed IP adress in the same range as the B2 (eg. 192.168.10.xx) and turn off its DHCP service.
Hope this helps, otherwise please ask for more help, preferrably giving as much information as you've got

Re: Finding B2 in local network
Still no luck finding the B2.
This is the present situation in detail.
From internet I have connected a switch TP-Link (TL-SG1008D). To the switch i have connected computers that have internet connection, and B2 connected direct to LAN port.
This is not an new B2, and I can connect wireless to B2, but that connection is without internet connection.
I cant reach the admin page in any way that I have tried.
I have also tried to connect B2 to internet directly to WAN port and my computer to LAN port. Then I get no internet connection. I have restarted all equipment.
I think that the problem started when DHCP service was enabled in B2, before that it worked fine. But how shall I change it back if I cant reach the admin page?

Re: Finding B2 in local network
Try connecting a computer to the lan port or your b2. It should get a IP-adress from your B2 and then you should be able to reach http://bubba/admin
If not use start > run (using a windows computer) and type cmd. This gives you a dos-like screen.
Then type ipconfig/all. You should be able to see its ip-adress. This should be in the same range as the B2. (eg. 192.168.10.xx or 192.168.1.xx or similar). If you get a ip-adress in the range 169.254.xx.yy this usually means that windows could not find a DHCP server meaning your B2 doesn't give out IP adresses.
If you get a IP adress in the 192.168.xx.yy range note the adress of the gateway, this usually is the B2. If you cannot connect to http://bubba/ you might try connecting to this address (http://192.168.xx.yy/)
