I got the same problem on my Bubba.
It doesn't seem to be the harddrive that crashed, because I managed to recover the files by putting the hard drive in another linux computer.

I have a small addition to the instructions.
If the bubba is rebooted, it will not work. Therefor you will have to write the following commands to make it work again after a reboot:

chmod 666 /dev/ttyUSB0

Just to inform you all: I am trying to use the function to control the lights in my apartment from the Bubba. I will hopefully get it to work soon and will then post a guide for you other guys to use!

I solved it myself!

I just downloaded the deb-file and then used the following command:

dpkg -i libdatetime-astro-sunrise-perl_0.01.01-2_all.deb

Now I'm going to do some really cool things!

It is available as a .deb-file at:

I follow the instructions in the mini-howto. When I type 'make', I get the following error:
