Unable to update my bubba
Hi!
Just did a re-install of my bubba with the latest 2.4.1.1 install image. No problems there, but when trying to update to the latest 2.6.0.2 my bubba doesn't seem to be able to find the update server even though it has internet connection. I have tried a couple of times now. Any ideas why ...

Re: B3 inaccessible with limited functionality
Hi all and thanks for all your help!
From my last post the Excito couldn't even get a lease from router, so I was unable to reach it. I couldn't even turn it off by holding the power button. So I decided that since I don't really have anything important on it that I simply would do a reinstall of ...

Re: B3 inaccessible with limited functionality
Hi ryz!
You might be right - I've gone through the firewall.conf front and back not being able to find anything related to port 22, even though I'm 100% sure it's enabled through the web interface and has never been touched. Could this rule have disappeared for some reason? The Excito DHCP is as ...

Re: B3 inaccessible with limited functionality
My bad, I went and corrected fstab:
# vi /mnt/etc/fstab
#/dev/mapper/bubba-storage /home ext3 defaults 0 2
/dev/sda1 / ext3 noatime,defaults 0 1
/dev/sda3 none swap sw 0 0
/proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0
...and reformatted swap again:
# mkswap /dev/sda3 ...

Re: B3 inaccessible with limited functionality
Thank you for your suggestions Gordon. I did as you suggested but I still experience the same things. E.g. long boot time and not being able to reach the web interface. But at least being able to ping my bubba.

Re: B3 inaccessible with limited functionality
Hi johannes!
Yes the front LED turns blue after about 7-10 minutes from the time I press the power button, which is much longer than usual. It also takes 3-4 minutes for it to shut down.
There's some red blinking from the back of the B3 which I just now noticed after some 15 months of usage, is ...

["SOLVED"] B3 inaccessible with limited functionality
Hi!
My B3 ignores me.
When doing my usual backup to my B3 this Sunday I noticed the file transfer after a couple of minutes just froze and would not continue. I restarted Explorer in Windows and also went to my B3 web interface and performed a reboot. After that reboot I can't reach the B3 web ...

Re: Mail server behind b3 blocked
When you say you've "opened port 25" it sounds like you opened it to the b3. Is that correct? If so, you need to set it to forward port 25 to the IP address of your mail server (bottom half if firewall configuration page).
Yes that is correct I had opened the port but not forwarded it. Now I did ...

[SOLVED] Mail server behind b3 blocked
Hi!
My problem is that I can't send/receive mail with the hMailServer I have on my Windows desktop.
Acquired the b3 a couple of days ago and have it configured as a Router + Firewall + Server. I should add that it worked fine before adding the b3 into the equation.
