No, regrettably I don't have a clue. I had some trouble during one upgrade which resulted in that my swap partition got lost(!) I got good help here at the forum, though, and was able to fix that. I think that was when this error started but I didn't care at the time because I wanted to re-install ...

I didn't have udev up and running and it actually seemed that the udev package was missing completely (maybe from the previous failed upgrade). I re-installed it and got warnings that there was also a problem with the portmap package which was automatically resolved ...

Slimserver supports multiple players out of the box so this shouldn't be a problem. Performance might not be top notch, though as Slimserver is quite heavy on Bubba's limited resources in my experience.
