Just to clarify my answer (the second post)

First not all the WD Green are the same.
as I understand it:
1. Only WD Green AV (WD AV-GP) that rated for 24/7 are comparable to WD Red.
2. The main difference between WD Green AV and WD Red is in a RAID Array.

I am using WD Red 3 GB on my B3 for a couple of months now.
The WD Red is working fine on my B3, it is quiet as the WD Green and the disk temperature is 1-2 degrees lower...

When trying Rescan Media Library with the option “Clear library and rescan everything”
It is not clearing the library! There is no option to clear the library.

I have Squeezebox Touch with firmware version 7.6.1 r9486
