Hi again,
After a lot of desperate measures like recompiling dnsmasq with COPTS=-DNO_IPV6 and others, I noticed this in /etc/dnsmasq.d/bubba.conf:
no-dhcp-interface=br0,tun0
The file had a new datestamp (from when I ran the upgrade).
Unfortunately I had no backup to compare it with, but ...

Re: B3 dnsmasq ignores DHCP requests since 2.6.0.3
Hi Gordon,
Sorry, copy/paste mishap.
I have edited my original post with the full ifconfig -a output.
I have wifi and a tun interface for OpenVPN.
I thought perhaps something weird had happened with my iptables configuration, but it looks like it used to do, and I can reach the TCP and UDP ports ...

B3 dnsmasq ignores DHCP requests since 2.6.0.3 [SOLVED]
Dear all,
I've been away for a while due to health issues.
I'm absolutely delighted to see that the forum is still alive!
My problem:
Since applying the 2.6.0.3 standard update ( http://forum.excito.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=5851 ) and apt-get upgrade, B3s dnsmasq seem to have stopped serving DHCP ...

Eh, I'm sorry, I think there was a bit of copy/paste problem there, leading to incorrect instructions.
I'll do some edits, hopefully you aren't too confused yet

Re: [SOLVED] [Old] WD Green Power drives may kill themselves
There's actually a binary for this in the Debian repository! So if you think something went wrong during compiling, you can grab the package from there and install it to retry.
Sorry to say it seems you were right in your first statement...
I remember having some issues with newer disks on the b2 ...

Hi,
My b2 is currently off-line, so I cannot confirm this myself, but it should be something like this:
You should have a symbolic link called /usr/bin/cc pointing to the update-alternatives system that then will be another symbolic link to /usr/bin/gcc, which is yet another symbolic link to the ...

Re: Clone my 2TB disk to a new 4TB (WD Green). Help needed
I would advise the following (having done it several times myself):
Use a PC with an eSATA port and an external transformer to attach your disks to a PC through eSATA, and an eSATA/SATA adapter cable.
Or if you could be bothered, just open your PC to attach the B3 disks if you have a spare internal ...

Re: Bridge WAN and LAN interfaces on B3 - SOLVED
Hi guyran,
I recently found myself in a similar situation with my second B3. This one was behind a modem/router/wifi-thingy as well (although 4G/LTE rather than ADSL).
I found the easiest way was to completely all built-in functionality of the modem/router and let the B3 take care of everything ...

Hi,
The admin page in the B3 is accessible through the internet (anything coming in through the WAN port), but for security reasons you are note allowed to log in as admin when coming through that port.
To configure it, you must connect through the LAN port.

This started as an edit, but I made it a new reply instead, so you would get a notification:
What you can also do is boot with the rescue-stick, create a folder like /temphome, create symlinks from the (now empty) /home mount point that the /dev/mapper normally is mounted on.

Hi!
The title (if you mean the title of the browser window) actually picks up the host name dynamically, so you could just change that.
Or... If you feel a bit adventurous, you could modify /usr/share/web-admin/admin/legacy/defines.php. Example:

Hi pixellegolas,
From your description it is a bit unclear what your setup is.
I will make some assumptions. If any of them are incorrect, please let us know all the details.
1. You need the Thomson device in order to get internet access from your ISP (Telia).

Hi,
I have not tried this on the B3, but I had some issues with it on a laptop.
Did you install the firmware? It is not on the B3 by default...
