I have successfully installed and used mumble-server 1.2.2 but want 1.2.3 installed instead. Sadly it's not available in the Squeeze repo, so question is how I would get it on my B3 without breaking the B3?
This is the sources.list I'm trying to use:
deb http://ftp.se.debian.org/debian testing ...

Installing Owncloud 4.0.x?
I have read about people installing OwnCloud on their B3 and want to be part of that club. OwnCloud has changed since then though and current release is 4.0.4.

apt-get install php5-sqlite curl ...

status of reinstall of the b3?
I followed the instructions for reinstalling the b3 into it's default state using the excito image, but the whole process took only 5 to max 10 minutes tops, on an empty b3 with 2TB.

Re: Can't connect to B3
What I want primarily is to use the B3's server and filesharing/storage capabilities. It isn't necessary for me to use it as router etc currently.
If I understand you correctly you suggest that I connect a) the modem to the B3 WAN, b) the B3 LAN to a Switch, and c) The Switch to the computer.

Can't connect to B3
Problem
Just got my b3 but haven't managed to login using b3.local or b3 in Win, OS X or Ubuntu. I suspect it is my modem/router setup and that I have managed to plug it all in wrong somehow.
I have a wireless modem (xavi x5258-p2) with a working WiFi setup and my internet works just fine ...
