Hi,
I've been having some range problems. Then I bought two high gain antennae for the B3. This increased the range to about 200 m. Perhaps you should try this.

WIFI range?
Is anyone having issues with the WiFi-range on the B3 WiFi? I haven't had any issues, until now, when I have almost completed building our guesthouse, which is ca 20m from our main building, and wanted to stream music there while i finished everything up.

Intermittently stops forwarding to my NAS
I have a peculiar issue with my B3. It is set up to forward port 5001 to my Synology NAS, so I can manage it from outside. This usually works fine, but now and then it starts becoming very erratic. netstat on the NAS shows the connection is there, with status TIME_WAIT, but the web-interface just ...

Re: Isolate misbehaving IP on wlan
Grrr, it doesn't work. I can block it from getting a address from DHCP, but once it's up and running it seems to sneak by the routing tables to the internet. Neither iptables nor route seems to affect it once it's up.

Isolate misbehaving IP on wlan
Hi all,
We have a device that I for different reasons want to be able to isolate from the network from time to time, and I want to do this programatically from the bubba (which is our router/firewall). The device have IP-address 192.168.0.77 and is on the WLAN.

Re: Questions about B3 wifi with COMHEM
1. Is anyone successfully using the B3 as an ADSL modem for Comhem ADSL (100 Mbit/s)?
You'll still need your ADSL modem sitting between your phone line and the B3.
2. Is the wifi unit in B3 good?
I have had no issues with it. My old Belkin AP I had to reset now and then, but this one has ...

Re: nfs4
Hope this will help:
There's some completely new things to consider with nfs v4.
First, you'll mount it using mount.nfs4, so the type should be "nfs4" rather than "nfs".
Secondly, the exports need to be reworked on the server side. nfs4 first need to export a "root" directory that you have to set ...

Confirm overwrite
I have a request. Please do a "confirm overwrite" dialog when you rename/move files in the file browser. I've lost two multi GB mkv-files now, because I managed to overwrite them with small subtitle-files.

Re: B2 Web-interface File Manager and symbolic links
Worked around this by mounting the directories in the place they are used, instead of using links from "/mnt". Works perfect, and can probably be used for "simulating" links across the local fs aswell.

Re: B2 Web-interface File Manager and symbolic links
Bumping this. I keep the majority of my precious data on my Synology NAS, and intend to have the disk on the B3 mostly as a "staging area" for downloads. It would however be nice to have the music- and video-directories linked to nfs-exports on the NAS.

Re: NAT/port forwarding issue
You've done this via the Bubba's web interface presumably. Try leaving the private ports field blank.
Cannot do that: "Invalid private port"
Update: Instead of setting "5000:5001" as source port, I made two rules. One for port 5000 and one for port 5001.
Now it works. Hmm :?

NAT/port forwarding issue
I'm having issues setting up port forwarding so I can access my NAS from the outside. It's a Synology that has a web-interface on ports 5000/5001, and I've opened the firewall like this:
User defined open / forwarded ports
Source IP Public port Private port Private IP Protocol
all 5000:5001 5000 ...

Re: Change admin-site port and/or url
All right, it's kind'a fixed now, but not by changing the admin-site, but rather tweaking the mybb-site so it's http://.../mybb/admin instead of http://.../admin.
