Re: How can I delete directories?
Thanks, but isn't there any simple way to regain ownership of directories? As I said, my hoster All-inkl offers a small tool, I simply choose the directories that I want to delete (such as Joomla or Dokuwiki) and then get assigned the rights. Afterwards, I can simply delete them using Filezilla...

How can I delete directories?
Hi,
I have the problem that I cannot delete the folders that have been created during the installation of Joomla and Dokuwiki - since I don't have the permissions to delete them.
Is there any tool or script to delete those directories on the B3? (As fas as my hoster is concerned, I had the same ...

Re: Using B3 as router in Germany
That is highly interesting - so far, I have only been using Speedport devices (the ones sold directly by German Telecom), and none of them offers the possibility to store the credentials for the DSL connection. In fact, they all rely on an external device to initiate the connection.
However, I will ...

Re: Using B3 as router in Germany
Hi, thanks, which modem did you use? And is it for PPPoE (as used in Germany and Switzerland)?
I have done a lot of research on that topic in the last days, and my Speedport 200 does not have any possibility to enter or store user credentials nor to initiate a connection by itself - it does have ...

Re: Using B3 as router in Germany
Thanks for the answers - of course, I know that I have to use some kind of DSL modem in order to use the B3 as router/firewall. In the user manual, such a scenario is described, and I would simply like to replace my current combination of integrated modem/router by a separate modem and the B3.

Using B3 as router in Germany
Hi, I have posted almost the same question the B3 server forum, but think it might be more appropriate here.
So I have the following general problem:
I am currently using the B3 as server connected to my separate router which works without any problems.
However, I would like to use the B3 as ...

How to use the B3 as router with a Speedport
Hi,
I have got a very basic question. I am living in Germany and use a Speedport W701v DSL modem with integrated router.
If I want to use the B3 as router and firewall, I think I have to deactivate the router part of the Speedport in order to only use it as a DSL modem. Therefore, I would ...

Re: Does the B3 support Woltlab Burning Board?
Hi, thanks, but that also applies for my current Synology 110j - however, the installation simply hangs even if all of the "formal" requirements are met (in fact, all other php-based applications work fine on it).
