Hi,

Instead of buying a Z-wave controller unit (Like Fibaro or HomeSeer) I'm thinking of getting a Z-wave USB-dongle and use my B3 instead.

1. Have anyone tried this?
2. Is Z-wave and Linux userfriendly (Like OpenZwave)?

I'm running Tellstick and 1-wire today, but would like to migrate to Z-wave.

My /etc/apt/sources.list was totally empty, so I updated it with the help from Cheeseboy.

I've just hooked up my B3 to a 1-wire network and installed OWFS according to this swedish guide . Quite a breeze.

Next step is to install RRDTool according to this guide which seems to be a bit tricky (please observe my nickname).

Stuck on the first step with error: "Package rrdtool is not ...

Regarding setting up B3 as a client and transparantly proxy all traffic trough TOR - There is a section in the wiki/howto for that.

Hope to see your stuff in an official B3 Sw update release in a not too distant future!
