Access drive formatted and mounted by B3 – on Mac via USB?
As the subject implies, I am wondering whether it is possible to access my 1 TB external HDD that I have connected to the B3, formatted via the B3 and mounted to the B3 – if I plug the HDD directly to my Mac via for example USB?

Gordon, thank you kindly for your very enlightening response.
As a "regular" formerly quite geeky user, I just don't have the time for "playing around" anymore as adulthood and all of its priorities catches up. I simply want things to just work fluently without needing to put energy into things ...

Practical, up-to-date (2015) use-cases for a B3?
So I've just come back from 3 years of traveling, during which time, my 2x B3's WiFi + 2x B3 Storage has been collecting dust.
I did reset one of my B3's and got it all set up. I encountered quite a few challenges in the process and my Linux skills are to say the least rusty.
What would you ...

Selling 2x B3 WiFi 1TB + 2x B3 Storage
Hello,
I got myself 2x B3 servers with 1TB integrated storage, plus two B3 storage units for RAID 1 purposes.
Unfortunately I never really came to the point of really using them much, but pretty much stopped after I got home automation up and running.
The units are located in Sweden and are ...

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0
I managed to continue when I installed libfti-dev.
Actually, I got through the entire guide!
However, I was unable to "import devices" in HA.
So I did a listing of my current devices in the terminal with:
tdtool --list
And got the following error...

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0
I did a full reset of my B3 and followed the Wiki .
However, I got stuck at instruction #4 .
I downloaded the latest compilation of Telldus Core (http://download.telldus.se/TellStick/Software/telldus-core/telldus-core-2.1.0.tar.gz) as instructed. And the directory hence becomes "/root/telldus-core ...

Re: HomeAutomation 2.0
I will retry to complete this solution when I have a bunch of hours to dedicate!
A complete Tellstick + HA-step-by-step installation guide on the Wiki would be VERY appreciated.
Love the project!

Also, there was one part of the guide which I could not fulfill - since the path/file didn't exist:

Re: Multi-Function Printers - Printing/Scanning/Copying - Is
Unfortunately you can not use samba to share a scanner only printers. You need to use something like SANE for the scanner. Se the how to for more information http://forum.excito.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1598. It is for the B2 but should work for the B3 as well.
