Re: Can not se bubba under Network in Windows 7.
Thank you for suggestions on solutions.
Still no success.
I set the workgroup to the same, tried both "excito" and mocrosofts own "homegroup" as names but non of them is working.
I have also tried to map as network drive with Folder: \\BUBBA\home\storage and \\192.168.10.1\home\storage

Re: Can not se bubba under Network in Windows 7.
Thank you for input.
I have disabled jumbo frames.
In the "getting started" guide page 10 it say:

Re: Can not se bubba under Network in Windows 7.
My problem is that I can not use my server as a file server in a easy way from windows.
My computer is connected with wireless NIC, 802.11n to a Netgear router that is not working as a router. I have flashed it with Tomato software and configured it as a switch, then to my bubba server.

NFS, mounting problems.
For long time I have used NFS without problems. But after change of hard drives and reinstall I can not get it to work.
I use to mount manually (from Kubuntu) with:
sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.10.1:/home/christer /bubba2
But now I get errors like.

New hard drive cloning boot fail
Dear bubba users,
I just wanted to share my experiences from attempts to clone the hard drive in my bubba2 when I was to upgrade from 1 TB to 2 TB disks, both WD green disks.
The idea was to clone the whole disk and then use gparted to expand the partition to the whole size of my new 2 TB disk ...

Re: Software update do not work,
You can restore RAID on both the internal as well as external disk, but it is the /home directory that are mirrored.

Re: Software update do not work,
Thank you all for input,
I will go for a reinstall.
I run my bubba2 with RAID, so it should just be to disconnect the external disk, reinstall bubba2 and then recreate the RAID.
Guess I will need to redo everything with adding users, installing and configure NFS.
But it is not to much.

Re: Webserver "Forbidden" everything else OK.
Thank you Ubi,
Yes I realized it have to do with access, and I did changes on user right a while back to get my NFS setup to work. Maybe I got this wrong by that.
Anyway, I think I might solved it.
I did:
