The official Spotify plugin is unfortunately only supporting the Squeezebox Radio and Touch models due to hardware (and licensing?) restrictions.
There is some hope though - there is an unofficial Spotify plugin developed by a guy called Triode. So far there has only been support for x86 platforms ...
