I have a similar issue, which I wrote support about a couple of days ago (without response I'm afraid).

I re-installed my B2 yesterday, after upgrading to a 2 TB harddisk, and
then tried to update the software (now the 2.6 kernel). Upgrading my B3
continued without a glitch, but the B2 update is ...

I have noticed that for some time already no updates are available for B2. It could be a problem on my end, so I'd like to know if anyone else noticed it.

I just noticed that the online manual (i.e. the webapges on the Bubba itself) are no longer there. The link to manual get's me a PDF download.And this document contains far less information than the older online manual (e.g. the various media services, like media tomb) are no longer there. I miss ...

Tried the chmod suggestion as well, but no avail. Neither FirePlay nor Rhytmbox connect.

mt-daapd is running. Using 'top' reveals that it takes between 14% and 35% of CPU (rebuilding the database).

I'm afraid the mentioned suggestions did work on my end:
- altered 'runas' to www-data in mtdaapd.conf
- removed the database
- restarted mt-daapd

However, I still can not connect to Bubba 2 using Rhytmbox (worked instantly before the upgrade) nor does the Firefly page show anything.

After upgrading I also have problems with mt-daap. The service is running, I tried the suggestion to rebuild the database, but to no avail. I use Rhytmbox to connect to the server, but it now says it can't connect to destination.

I had some succes with using Funambol 6.5.18 on my HTC Diamond Touch. I could synchronize appointments, notes and e-mail. I stopped using it, because it was kind of slow, had some issues with a hacked mailserver and using Activesync in connection with Google had a much better performance.

Sorry, I stated too soon that nothing was wrong.

I have some experience with Horde/ Office 2007. I use Funambal 6.5.8 as plugin for Outlook. More recent plugins failed to work. I also found out that sync wasn't 100%, every now and then appointments don't sync. It's not massive, but irritating enough for me.
