Just to share my new knowlede here. There is a bug in the new 2.4-RC1 release for B2 and if you run into a simliar problem that I had, meaning that when changing Network Profile the Network Web Conf GUI won't respond when you click "Update" you can do it manually in a terminal.

I tried once again (manually changed settings in bubbacfg file) to "server" and rebooted. It seems to work now so something must have went wrong the last time.

I still have the same problem and due to the fact that everything worked fine before the upgrade with the same external disk, doesn't it mean that a bug must have slipped through? Is there anything else I can investigate? I would really appreciate a solutions soon since I'm using that external disk ...

Thanks for your qiukc reply. I first upgraded from the web ui but got some error messages like "server might be down...". I then used ssh and got some error messages also there, the first time but after running dist-upgrade one more time it seemed to work an now I have no more updates when running ...
