I am also very interested in a solution.

Re: Upgrade problems due to debian Etch repos moved
The WebGUI upgrade doesn't work for me.
It keeps restarting some time after having reached 40%.
I have hotfixes included though...
Nevertheless, following works fine, smooth, and quickly

I'll have a look at the UTF-16 suggestion and I'll visit the web-site of rsync for further assistance.
Thanks for your help guys.

Re: rsync problems with diacritics in file names (e.g. "å", "ä")
Hi Kiff,
You are right, and the rsync parameter --iconv=UTF8,UTF8 is there to enforce rsync to treat both read and write operations are UTF-8 based.
Unfortunately the rsync on Bubba 2 doesn't react as I expected.

rsync problems with diacritics in file names (e.g. "å", "ä")
Dear all,
I have a large MP3 collection with many diacritics in the file names.
When using rsync to copy the entire archive to a mounted hard-disk these file names get distorted; the diacritic characters are replaced by two characters each, of which the first one is something like à or Â.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 1.3.0
Strange, Download continued working for me after the upgrade to 1.3.0.
Important to notice that a further upgrade to 2.0 improved the Download stability significantly.

Re: BUG REPORT: Samba wount start with static IP and no printing
Same with me, Samba doesn't start automatically on boot since 1.3.0.
I have Static IP on LAN, DHCP on WAN and following services enabled: Windows share, both Streaming services, and Up-/download

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 version 2.0
Hi guys from Excito,
You did a nice job, I really like the GUI.
Unfortunately I'm stuck with 2 issues:
- Bubbamon doesn't work
- Samba doesn't work
The release notes state:
It is now possible to turn off the Samba service from the web interface
I suppose this implies that there is a way to ...

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|2 1.3.0
I tried to upgrade to 1.3.1 as well, so I repeated following commands many times:
apt-get -f install
apt-get install
apt-get dist-upgrade ... but the overall version remained 1.3.0 :(
However, after I performed the GUI upgrade once only, I immediately ended up with version 1.3.1 :)
