Problem solved there was a network configuration problem ie two ip a dresses the same which was causing the bubba to drop network connection.
Still can't get my esata sum vision drive to work with the bubba 2

Thanks for the reply but Excito should read this forum and reply aswell as they used to before.
I have bought all the series of server from them so I will inform them aswell but if anybody has these problems please feel free to mention a solution maybe a bit of linux code to fix the network resets ...

My Bubba 2 has been updated to the latest firmware currently provided but it dropd network connections when playing hd media files.If I download files aswell and start playing the media from the same drive it drops connection aswell

Looks like it's a windows problem over the network I am running server 2008 to move files within the bubas internal and external drives

The bubba 2 with latest firmware installed from excito wont copy files over 5gb to external storage with windows.
Please Excito can you update your firmware so this can be achieved in a later release

Hey Guys I have just updated my Bubba 2 to the latest Version - BubbaTwo 2.0.2 and I Cannot Extend my USB Western Digital 1TB External Drive

I have just tested transferring data between my network of over 1.5gb total it has not crashed out so it looks like it has been resolved everything working ok now -THank alot for your help It would be good if you tell me why i could not access the version bootloader as i am new to linux os ...

All you need to do is to assign a new port the bubba2 ie say port 8082
1st you need to Create a Port Forward Rule to forward the port 8082 to the bubba2s firewall (accept all ip on port 808 Protocol TCP)
2nd Create an Rule on your Router side setup - Open a Port 8082 to your Wan Bubba2 ...

Email Problems resolved different to Bubba one setup
Email Problems resolved looks like I have to smtp through the client side and not the bubba settings.
emails are now received and sent ok
please note use ssl in the bubba 2 settings port 993 on both the server and the client sides

Please can somebody help me sort this problem out as I had no problems with the bubba 1 server at redirecting emails to and from the server.
The Bubba 2 setup is simliar but still does not work when sending emails from horde or thunderbird and outlook 2007 even with my isp email account or others ...
