POP3 disabled in dovecodefault installt?
hi,
I am trying to use my B2 as a mail server for pop3 clients. I have got the IMAP part working, besides the fact that I must use SSL (without a certificate) since Oultllook Express doen't support the secure password algoritm used by dovecot. POP3 is however impossible to use from clients.

Lost IP-address, no access from LAN
Hi, I have forgot the local IP-adress I've set on my bubba and can't access the admin interface on the LAN port (DHCP not active).
Is there a way (of course it is!) I can edit a config file through SSH to allow temporary admin login on /web-admin from WAN, so I can change my IP settings and DHCP ...

Empty httpd.conf? Need mod_rewrite - n00b asking
Hi,
Running my first Bubba2 (my Bubba1 is running since 200+ days) and stumble over the following issue: I am installing silverstripe cms and it requires "mod_rewrite enabled" in httpd.conf and "AllowOverride is enabled for the current path". I found httpd.conf in /etc/apache2/ but it is empty ...

When setting up the bubba on a local network I configure /etc/network/interfaces to communicate with internet.
When connecting bubba directly to internet I configure /etc/network/interfaces with the correct parameters (as for other servers) and there is no connection ...

"Could not connect" - apt-get update
Hi,
Tried the beta of the etch release and it worked fine until I suddenly could not use apt-get. Returned "Could not connect" even though http, smtp and ftp worked in both directions. Decided to go back to latest stable bubba image. Fresh install no extras, and still cannot use apt-get update ...

Thanks for enlightening information, BUT... I still have some questions:
I have the Webmin server up and running, version 1.180 (isn't there a more recent version available?) Second; I don't recognize myself in this ancient interface - I can't find any servers like apache, or sendmail (postix?) like ...
