Hello! i'd like to recompile the kernel for my bubba, using the last stable one.
I was quite sure someone did it before, but i couldn't find any guide..
Is there something i should take care of ? any necessary patch or such ?
Btw, can i use the .config file of a previous kernel for a new one ?

ops, thanks carl, that was new to me.
well the binaries can be downloaded here:
http://www.freepascal.org/down/powerpc/ ... al.org.var
they should work in any version of debian (and ubuntu).
it's a bit harder than before, but if anyone wants to try, he will have my eternal gratitude

Fantastic script, i'll test it out soon
A small improvement: it should be possible to use the screen application to detach the program instead of having to create a fork script.
something like:
screen -m -d command
should do the trick.

I appreciate the suggestion (any suggestion!) - but the bubba address is set to be static - and when I check which devices are attached to my router and which addresses they are using sure enough the Bubba is using the correct address - Besides, wouldn't this affect Apache? Since I can still get to ...

Problems on my bubba, issue with power supply?
Hello, i've a problem with my bubba, it doesn't start anymore.. :(
The symptomps are the following:

It looks great! And the price seems reasonable too! If i think i bought the first 64Mb bubba for over 500 € :)
I expecially like the faster lan and usb. Looking back, one of the thing where bubba showed slow was transferring big files.
