Hi,
I have intermittent connectivity issues on mine, although not quite the same symptoms as you have had. I had issues with connecting at all at random times. 
All I did was edit the hosts file, adding the bubba (and another) server, and I haven't had the problems since.

Multiple Email Domains Error
Hi,
I have tried to set up Bubba to work with multiple domains - e.g. abc.co.uk and cba.co.uk and cba.com
I have entered these into the 'Received' page on the Bubba admin with a space inbetween each as suggested.
I am getting the following error when trying to reload postfix:
bubba:/home/gison ...

The original suggestion was to remove the unknown domain, not the blacklists. I did test this, and of course it worked great!
But then I read Ubi's post and put it back - lol! The problem I have is that the email never leaves the ISP, as they are my Backup MX in case ...
