FWIW, the B2 install process worked for me. I think I used "b2-install-1.0-rc7.zip" at the time. Unzip to a USB stick, plug in and turn on with power-button depressed, and wait 15..30 min or so for light to stop blinking.

Some routers such as FritzBox and SpeedTouch can pick up the client's host name during the DHCP handshake. That way, the Bubba can be identified by name regardless of what IP address it gets - that's how I use it.

FWI, I've replaced the internal 3.5" HD by a 2.5" model. It works like a charm. You just need to secure the disk with sticky two-sided tape to keep things together since there are no mounting options for a 2.5" model. I just wrapped scotch tape around the entire disk + board assembly for now.
